How to Speed Up Images Loading Time?

Images loading time slow? Bloggers find that people are not visiting their sites regularly because of the long wait for the images to download. Sometimes alot of people simply opt for an image-free interface. However, if one has smaller sized images that blend well into a site, there is no reason not to have too many images around the site that do not confuse people.

The Best method to decrease file size for a web image is to decrease the quality. This does not mean that the image will not look good on a computer monitor. Digitized images are normally at a much higher quality than a monitor can display. This step alone will normally reduce the file size to 20% of the original. Physical size will not be changed.

Apart from optimizing the images it is also important to choose the right format. The recommended format should be GIF, PNG and JPEG based on the type of the image and on size constraints of your website. You can try this Image Opmimizer for free.
