How to Add Favicon in Blog Address Bar?
What is Favicon? Favicon is a small picture or logo that display next to your browser address bar. You can follow the process as per below steps:-
- Make a picture / small logo or image (your own unique picture, do not use trademark image). The photo / image must be in format of GIF or PNG.
- Go to http://chami.com/html-kit/services/favicon/
- Save the image in favicon.ico format
- Upload the image to your root directory using FTP or File Manager.
- Add the link code to your head tag, example:- <link rel=”shortcut icon”href=http://thebloggertips.com/favicon.ico> <link rel=”icon” href=”http://thebloggertips.com/favicon.ico>
- Change your own URL
- Wait for few hours or 1 day in order for your little image to display the browser address bar.
