How Bloggers Professionally Quit Job

Many blogger in the world wish to quit their job and enjoy full time blogger. This is not easy but can be done if you have planned carefully for your financial independent. However, most of the time, blogger will blog as part-timer until financially independence. Before quitting your current job, it is advisable that you do the professional job and act professionally and be gentlemen.  

  1. Review the employee handbook - Understand what you’re entitled to regarding benefits and compensation for unused medical leave or vacation days.
  2. Inform your supervisor or manager - You want him to hear the news from you, not from someone else in your department.
  3. Two month notification - Stay for the full period unless the company requests that you leave sooner.
  4. Be modest & low profile - Do not alienate your colleagues by bragging or chattering incessantly about your awesome new company.
  5. Do not insult anyone or anything - Show that you regret leaving such wonderful people behind whether it’s true or not,
  6. Stay on top of your responsibilities - Remember that you are accountable for your work until 1730hrs on your last day.
  7. Continue to adhere to office protocol - Worked hard for that corporate persona and leave them with a lasting impression of professionalism.
  8. Organize your files & clear bad log - Make it easy for your colleagues to find materials so that they can transition your workload seamlessly and won’t need to call you at your new job to settle the issues.
  9. Perform a great job training your replacement - These people paid your salary for a year or more, you owe it to them to leave your job in good hands.
  10. Do not take anything that doesn’t belong to you - This includes office supplies and work product that was not developed by you personally.
