The development and invention of technology makes it easy to copy, modify and even share the information about text, images, audio or video. The issue now is that the majority of people do not understand the Copyright Law which might result in illegal and costly mistakes. 2. Do quote something you find interesting.

1. Don’t assume that if you credit the author there is no copyright infringement.

2. Don’t copy material just because it does not show a copyright message.

3. Don’t equate Creative Commons with “free for grab”.

4. Don’t copy material just because you are not making a commercial use.

5. Don’t assume that if you remove the copyrighted material you will be out of trouble.

6. Don’t copy material just because you can’t find a copyright holder.
