Checklist to Review Other Blog

Previous posting mentioned about review our own blog with checklist. Today we are going to discuss how to review other people’s blog with basic criteria.
In total I have outline 5 main basic criteria to review other people blog. To review other people’s blog, we can include pros or and cons to make it fair and unbias.
The 5 criteria outlined as a checklist and guideline here:-

  • Blog Domain & Blog Name
  1. Domain name and Blog Name consistent
  2. Using personal name?
  3. Using 1 word or phases?
  4. Using more that 3 words?
  5. Domain name with dash?
  6. Others
  • Objective & Audience
  1. What is the objective or mission statement of blog?
  2. What can the audience or readers benefit from the blog.
  3. Others
  • Content
  1. Is the writing well, error or with typo?
  2. What is the frequency of blog posting?
  3. Who are the information provider(s)?
  4. Posting with interesting images?
  5. Others
  • Design
  1. Payable theme or free template theme?
  2. Page layout (nice looking or messy?)
  3. Should less widgets and banners?
  4. Navigation (accessibility of header links, footer links and content links)
  5. Provide feed subscription?
  6. Provide Search form?
  7. Showing categories or Sections for easy access?
  8. Others
  • Rating and Traffic
  1. What is your overall rating total out of 10?
  2. What is the Google PageRank?
  3. Alexa Ranking?
  4. Page Loading time
  5. Others
