20 Characteristics for a Successful Blogger

Today come to my mind a question: What are the characteristics should apply for a successful blogger? I believe there are lots of bloggers out there that owning most of the 20 characteristics as per listed here:-

  1. Planning and setting short term and long term goal.
  2. Commitment on blogging - serious on his or her blogs.
  3. Developing a good relationships with other bloggers.
  4. Enjoy and interest in daily blogging.
  5. Do research and reading for new ideas.
  6. Passion and Patience.
  7. Never give-up and never quit.
  8. Always listen to other opinions.
  9. Be fair and trust to others.
  10. Willing to share and give advice to others.
  11. Develop networks with other niche.
  12. Willing to give and take.
  13. Admit mistake and learn from mistake.
  14. Be humble and no selfish.
  15. Never laugh on other people’s mistake - always remind self and others to avoid mistake.
  16. Be consistent and buid a positive brand name for blog.
  17. Never critics on others blogs directly, change to polite way instead.
  18. Leave positive commentary to other blogs.
  19. Be a teacher and be a student at the same time.
  20. Provide solution(s) to others without demanding.

    Build up a buffer of draft blog posts for when you are busy and can’t blog.

    This is good idea to reserve for future posts when we lack of time. Sometimes, we might encounter some unexpected incident may cause delay of our posting. Do you use timestamp? Don’t mind can you share your experience? thks

    Working in IT support you can never manage your time, if a clients server goes down, then you need to drop everything and deal with that.

    So I timestamps 90% of my posts now, if I have something new or unplanned, I will just blog it there and then.
